Automated Forex Systems have become all the rage in forex trading. But there are certain people that would be better in using them than others.  I don't think its meant for everybody.

For those that are unfamiliar with the terminology, automated forex systems or forex robots essentially trade for you. A developer developed a trading system first that was profitable and then programmed the trading robot around the system.  So whenever conditions in the market matched with the parameters of the trading system, the robot would automatically open or close trades based on the specific parameters.

You could see why this would be useful for a lot of people.  But there are certain people that this would not be a good match for.

Automated forex system require a lot of faith to be put on the trading robot.  Since chances are, the system wasn't developed by you, there is a natural trust issue.

You can't be the type of person who second guesses a lot on trades.  If you are, then trading robots are not for you. You have to sit there and have confidence in that the forex robot knows what it is doing.  Otherwise you will drive yourself crazy trying to second guess the system.

So who is an automated forex system useful for?  Well, tons of people.

For starters what about the kind of people that let fear and greed takeover their trading?  An automated forex system is perfect for them.

You see, many traders love the idea of trading forex, but they have a real hard time once they are in a trade.  There are so many emotions that cause them to lose more often than they win.  These emotions can usually be summed up in two words: fear and greed.

Those two emotions have wrecked more trading careers than crooked brokers.

But that's the advantage of automated trading systems.  Since all the trades are being done for you. it requires no screen time from you. You can go ahead and live your life.  Keep your mind occupies with other things so you are not consumed with the same negative emotions that caused you to lose trades.

Another person that automated forex systems are perfect for are people that have the 9 to 5 jobs or really hectic schedules who don't have the time to trade forex. They want to, but it just doesn't fit their schedule.

Forex robots are perfect for them. They can come home after a long day of work and not have to stay up and other couple of hours looking to see if there are any good buy or sell plays. They can just check to see how well their trading robot did today.
